Levitation announces daily schedules, lineup additions, and kickoff shows
Austin's Levitation fest is less than a month away, and they've just announced the 2016 daily schedules which you can study here. Brian Wilson is playing Pet Sounds at 9:35 PM on the main Reverberation Stage on Saturday, April 30 right before huge Pet Sounds fans Animal Collective headline the stage, which may find conflicts for folks who want to catch Woods, Sun O))), Black Mountain and Sleep as well. Such is festival-going! Festival passes and single-day tickets are still available.
The fest has also announced a few more additions, including Indrajit Banarjee & Gourisankar, The Blind Suns, Anabelle Chairlegs, Drinking Flowers, Amerikan Bear, and Rotten Mangos. They join Levitation's great lineup of Slowdive, Ween, Courtney Barnett, Ty Segall & The Muggers, Caribou, Super Furry Animals, Black Angels, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Flying Lotus, Lee Scratch Perry, and loads more.
Levitation has also announced its kickoff shows which this year happen at Mohawk, Empire Garage, and Barracuda on Thursday, April 28 and include sets from Chelsea Wolf, Night Beats, Quintron & Miss Pussycat, The Golden Dawn Arkestra, Ringo Deathstarr, The Coathangers, The Mystic Braves and more. Those shows are $15 each. Full lineups, schedule and ticket links for those kickoff shows are below.
