We're returning to Austin this year for three FREE BrooklynVegan SXSW day parties at Cheer Up Charlies (900 Red River St, the old Club Deville location, next to Mohawk) on the Thursday (3/17), Friday (3/18) and Saturday (3/19) of SXSW. RSVP at Do512 for all three days, and enter to win a Gretsch guitar while you're at it.

We'll be taking over the Austin venue's two stages from noon-6pm each day. Friday lineup HERE and Saturday lineup HERE, and here's the Thursday lineup!

Inside will be sets from Connecticut emo band Sorority Noise (who just announced a new EP on Topshelf), Australia's folky art rockers Spookyland, rising queer punk duo PWR BTTM, the eccentric genre-defying Ezra Furman, the great alt-singer/songwriter Little Scream (who just signed to Merge and announced the followup to her 2011 debut), Canadian alt-country singer Daniel Romano, Australian bare-bones folk singer Julia Jacklin, and Kansas dream pop band Your Friend (who recently put their debut album out on Domino).

Outside, there's Texas' own crossover thrash favorites Power Trip who are always a killer time, the Jesus Lizard-inspired post-hardcore band Citizen, dreamy/jangly popsters Turnover, power pop-infused garage punks Radioactivity, the Ramones-y Mean Jeans (who recently signed to Fat Wreck Chords), the Epitaph-signed theatrical garage punks Plague Vendor, and Polyinyl's new wave-y rockers White Reaper.
