After getting rained out in 2016 and taking 2017 off, Levitation festival returned to downtown Austin this past weekend (April 26-30) with artists across the spectrum of what gets called psych.

'90s alt-rock loving Partner and disco Francophones Le Couleur were among the bands who played M for Montreal's SXSW showcase on Swan Dive's patio.

Sylvan Esso's one SXSW show this year was a Friday night Rainey Street shindig sponsored by M&M’s (though as a duo they also would have fit right into the Twix “House of Duos” party at the same venue a day earlier). It was also one of the 18 best sets we saw at SXSW this year.
