A quick rundown of some hot, upcoming shows in Austin....

Animal Collective play The Backyard on September 28 with Micachu & the Shapes and tickets are still available. More tour dates at BrooklynVegan..

While we're on the subject of The Backyard, Passion Pit play there on September 15 and tickets are still available for that one too.

Stubb's has a killer double-bill of Beach House and The Walkmen (also Dustin Wong) on September 20 and you can still get tickets UPDATE: sold out.

Like the Drive soundtrack? Can't wait for the actual "Drive tour" to reach town? Glass Candy and Chromatics play Mohawk on July 27 and tickets to that are still available. The two bands play Gorilla Vs Bear Fest in Dallas one day later.
