Texas VegFest is this Saturday

Texas VegFest

Texas VegFest will take place this Saturday, April 6 at Fiesta Gardens. From their site:

Texas VegFest, Austin’s first vegan festival featuring great food, craft beer, speakers, cooking demos, kids’ activities, sampling, and live music, returns for its second year. The festival is back this year on April 6 from 11 AM to 6 PM at the beautiful Fiesta Gardens, 2101 Jesse E. Segovia St. Conveniently located in central Austin, Fiesta Gardens is accessible by bicycle and public transportation. The inaugural festival in 2012 attracted over 3,500 people interested in learning about and celebrating plant-based diets, cruelty-free lifestyles, or just grabbing a bite to eat and grooving to some good jams.

Many great activities and speakers are scheduled, including performances by bands that you (and we) love: Edison Chair, Ray Prim, Silver Ships, Mighty Mountain, The Asteroid Shop and Technicolor Hearts.

Check out more details below, and go spend a great Saturday getting your Veg on.
