Suboi, the first-ever Vietnamese artist to play SXSW, played two shows in Austin this year, part of her first-ever US tour (which also hit NYC). She played the BrooklynVegan day party on Saturday, and her official showcase two days earlier at The Trophy Club. Fool’s Gold-signed Sammy Bananas was her DJ at both shows.
