Converse Rubber Tracks heading to Austin before SXSW, offering free studio time
Rubber Tracks NYC
Converse will bring their mobile studio, called Rubber Tracks, to Austin from March 4 – 8 (right before SXSW), inviting “emerging artists” to submit applications to get free studio time:
If accepted, Texas musicians of all genres will be able to reserve studio time on one of the five days the studio will be open to record their original music alongside the Converse Rubber Tracks team of experienced engineers at no cost to them. At the end of their studio time, the artists retain all the rights to their own music. This year Converse Rubber Tracks Austin will select a total of 10 local artists for studio time utilizing not one but two studio spaces.
Head to the Rubber Tracks site for details on how to apply for time at the Austin location or the one in Brooklyn. Texas submissions are due by February 15.
